Pette’s Closet was created after my late son, Petter. He was born on July 10, 2019, at 1:35 a.m. He came into this world so beautiful yet so silent. I was 37 weeks (Full Term) when I went into labor. When I got to the hospital, I heard his heartbeat, but by the time I got to the labor and delivery side, his heartbeat was no longer there. I had a placental abruption, which caused the loss. The pain never goes away, but we learn to deal with it. As I take one day at a time, I’ve learned to turn my pain into something so amazing that I can’t wait to share it with the world.
I am part of the Pregnancy & Infant Loss community, and with your help, I will be able to give back to our community. I plan to help give my community a voice, Pette’s Closet is the first step to that voice. The funds that I receive from Pette's clothing line will help me launch Angel Mommie which is a nonprofit for mothers like me I plan to create care packages and provide multiple resources for new mommies joining our community not just in my hometown but all over the world. I am 1 in 4.

•Loss is far more common than many realize, yet often unspoken, many people in grief feel isolated but your never alone there's always a community here for support .
• Every year, nearly 2 million babies are stillborn worldwide that’s about one baby lost every 16 seconds.
• On top of that, globally there are about 23 million miscarriages annually, meaning pregnancy loss affects far more women and families than most realize.

Through the proceeds from Pette’s Closet and our Angel Families collection, we aim to build and sustain Angel Mommies a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting parents healing from pregnancy and infant loss. By turning love into action, Angel Mommies will provide healing care packages, emotional support, grief resources, and lasting memorial keepsakes to families navigating the unimaginable.
